Today's Events

8:00 p.m. — Diana Athill in conversation with Alice Munro (Fleck Dance Theatre)

This is, both literally and figuratively, the only show to see tonight. The IFOA opens with the legendary, Booker Prize–winning Alice Munro, in an event to support PEN Canada. Since we don't have tickets and there's a good chance you don't either, we thought we'd provide you with an alternate Munro-themed programme. Grab a cup of cocoa, curl up in your comfiest chair, and read up on the woman that has been likened to our generation's Chekhov, with an online biography, an interview or two, a bit of trivia, and some assessments of her work and contributions to literature. It'll almost be like seeing her in person.

Coming tomorrow: several events to choose from, most of which still have tickets available!
