Torontoist's photographers have been checking in on garbage and recycling bins around the city throughout the strike, an attempt to follow the tangible effects of the strike and complement our other coverage.

I just don't understand the mentality of people who know there's a strike on, see the garbage heaped on the sidewalk and spilling out of the holes, and decide the best move would be to try cramming their crap in too. You really couldn't carry that spent can (of Brio?) a little further?
