    I used to live just around the corner on Kenwood Avenue. While I’ve never been in, I was always told they have the best ice cream in the city, and the perpetual summertime lineups testified to that.
    The building next to it, behind all the trees, is a Zen Buddhist temple.

    I used to live up the street on Vaughan. Only went in once, and was treated impolitely when I asked what were all the chocolate and chocolate related flavours available that day. Never went back. Besides, even if it is a Toronto “phenomenon”, aren’t there some efficiencies to be had at the ordering, serving and paying area that could reduce that line? I really dislike lining up, especially for food. And especially when I suspect the purveyor likes it that there is a lineup.
