Did you know that boner means more than one thing? It's true! According to the Oxford English Dictionary, it can be both "a mistake, a blunder" or—the usage that has become far more common over the past few decades—"An erection of the penis" (or, figuratively, "a strong attraction to or state of excitement about something specified"). Did you also know that the latter half of Adam Giambrone's last name sounds sorta like "boner"? And that he made a pretty big mistake recently? And that, because the Sun has a boner for embarrassingly bad headlines, that the photo above is of the actual cover of today's paper?

Well this is a big fat load of made my day.

LOL. oh, the Sun.
TTC-themed porn would be so awesome.
I used to have an Archie comic where Archie complained about how he "pulled a boner with Veronica last night"
Reminds me of the word "ejaculate". It used to have a more common meaning as a grammatical interjection, but that died out in the early twentieth century, as I discovered in the fourth grade when I used "Harry ejaculated" in a creative writing exercise and had to explain myself to the teacher. I'd read it in A Little Princess and didn't know it had any other meaning.
Though I seriously doubt the Sun can make that excuse.
I remember years ago my grandmother telling us that some local teenagers were no longer welcome to use a neigbour's pool because they'd "queered themselves" there.
The Sun is basically the newsstand equivalent of an internet troll. I wish folks'd stop feeding the trolls...
Then, there's the comic strip "Boner's Ark" to consider.

Amusing to see a character named "Boner" bearing a disconcerting resemblance to Bill Clinton.
hahaha Sun FTW
