So would this be an actual case where Vandalist was the direct cause of new graffiti?

It would appear so, and I also note with interest the banner ad appearing below the post for "Graffiti Supplies". So, Torontoist not only encourages and promotes graffiti and tagging, it profits from it as well. Is this the new source of funding keeping T*ist afloat?

Note that that is a Google ad, meaning it's automatically inserted based on keywords used elsewhere on the page, that we didn't sell it ourselves, and, because it's a Google ad, it by itself makes us a pretty marginal amount of money. The front page I see of Torontoist right now features another Google ad for singlemuslim.com (who knows what keywords set that one off). So, is this the new source of funding keeping Torontoist afloat? No.

I don't get it. I like street art, but this is just some poorly drawn toy. Why is this news worthy?

well yeah i know this guy h doesnt rite this anymore

does it have to be 'news' worthy? can't it just be funny worthy? :)
