If you ever needed further proof that TransGlobe is uglifying Toronto one building at a time, one look at this recent Urban Toronto thread, which features photos of a stretch of TransGlobe-managed buildings along Avenue Road around St. Clair, oughta do it. We just blue ourselves.

    Since I wrote the original article, I’ve noticed these hideous blue TransGlobe signs spreading like a virus, and I just recently noticed them all over Ottawa too. The worst is how they remove nice-looking, existing awnings and signs and steamroll all over the buildings with their ugly signs…and the dated, fugtastic logo, which apparently needs to be plastered at least a zillion times all over the properties.
    No taste. No style.

    I love the Arrested Development ref. I think it’s pretty safe to say that anything called TransGlobe is a front for a worldwide terrorist organization funded by our rent cheques.
