Winterlicious Definition Makes The City Loco

Winterlicious, the city-wide foodstravaganza that not everybody loves, is getting a two-week extension from the City: it's now running from February 16 to 28 at a great many (but not all) of the participating restaurants. According to the city's release, sent out this afternoon, the change is "due to the overwhelmingly positive response to this year's Winterlicious" and was made "in light of the financial situation facing restaurateurs in the current economy."

Winterlicious is the biggest gong show scam going.

I went to Alice Fazoolli's yesterday... they scammed me on lamb. Two chunks, a couple potatoes /w scattered beans... I mean, WTF. Luckily I filled up on bread. It was tasty though, but I was tempted to go next door over to Hooters for some real food.

Dude, you went to Alice Fazooli's. I went there this past summer (not Summerlicious) and never thought to ever go back. Not worth the cost.

I have eaten at a couple of restaurants every Winterlicious and Summerlicious for some years and with very few exceptions I have gone again.

I tried Pregos Della Piazza in Yorkville for Dinner last week and it was fantastic. They had healthy portions of a menu that i would say is pretty rich for winterlicious. I am certinaly going to try lucnh there next week. Fuzion was also good.
