Protect Your Passport

It looks like you have to be wary of more than just those gypsies in Rome: Peel Regional Police have announced that a pickpocketing ring has wreaked some havoc at Pearson International Airport throughout the past year. Group members, who mostly entered Canada on fake passports, have stolen $500,000 from travellers in what police believe have been 175 thefts (about $3,000 on average per theft). Seventeen suspects have been arrested so far, but police remain on the lookout for more participants.
