Heroes and Villains is back.
Just like last year, Torontoist staffers have all chosen one hero and one villain each, a way to look back at the past year through the people, places, and things that we’ve either fallen in love with or that have made us totally nuts in that time. After we’ve made our case for several dozen heroes (those are the good things of 2008) and several dozen villains (those are the bad ones), we’ll open the floor to you, our readers, to vote on the superhero and supervillain of the year. Last year, the TTC’s new automated announcements edged out the ROM Crystal’s exterior for superhero, and Stephen Harper’s government walked away with the supervillain spot handily (you can see the complete collection of our heroes and villains from 2007, too). This year is anyone’s guess. So keep your eyes peeled to the site next week for Heroes and Villains 2008.
