I know, j0hnnyb, but "CBC copy-editing FAIL" and "CBC copy-edit FAIL," and even "CBC proof-reading FAIL" and "CBC proof-read FAIL," lack the snap of "CBC fact-check FAIL."
My impression of FAIL Blog is that entries aren't always branded literally.
Besides, I find it funnier this way. It's obviously actually a copy-editing error, but I like the idea that — having gotten wrong such a crucial word — the name of the party is a fact the CBC would do well to verify.

If you were quick (and OCD) enough, you could probably maintain a blog with hourly updates of all the mistakes that appear on CBC's website - until someone notices and fixes them. It's probably not so different for most other news sites either.
