LECTURE: Still have celebratory (or sorrowful) election bubbly coursing through your veins? President of the White House News Photographers Association Dennis Brack will discuss his experiences as a political photographer, having snapped every president since Lyndon B. Johnson to the present day. He's also had a photo in every issue of Time Magazine for the past twenty-two years straight, so go stuff that in your pipe and smoke it, Flickr. Check him out at the thirty-third annual Ryerson Kodak Lecture Series, tonight. Ted Rogers School of Management (575 Bay Street), 7:30 p.m., FREE.
COMEDY: Tired of watching that same video of the monkey peeing in its mouth on YouTube for laughs? Then head down to the newest comedy venue in Toronto, The Comedy Bar, opening tonight with free admission all weekend and NO appearances by Michael Richards. Comedy Bar (945 Bloor Street West), open daily from 6:30 p.m.–2 a.m., FREE this weekend.
FAIR: Make sure you got your parents to sign your class trip permission forms, because it's time for the The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair! It features animals in pens, animals on race tracks, animals being ridden by men in cowboy hats, animals on leashes, animals attached to milking machines, and much, much more, so we'd recommend leaving that vegan cousin of yours at home. The Ricoh Coliseum (100 Princes' Boulevard), runs until November 16, $14–$18.
CONFERENCE: Finally, a place to discuss technology and community outside of World of Warcraft. Labourtech 2008 is a conference aimed at uniting activists and building new communications technologies, featuring workshops on web writing, workplace privacy, online campaigning, and creating an international labour media network. Ryerson University (Various locations), runs until November 9, $100–$175.

Newsstand: November 9, 2009
have you ever seen Joe Bidens mother?? She looks like a munchkin off the Wizard of Oz.
From what I've seen she doesn't come close to looking like that. It's unfortunate that I can't tie that comparison, I was prepared to start calling him VP Lolipop kid.
Photo lecture heads up=WIN
