Saints Alive!

Toronto is reprising its role as Boston for Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day—the long-awaited sequel is being filmed in town right now, and writer/director Troy Duffy has begun posting shooting diaries to the film's YouTube account. In one of them you can see Duffy drive past a Coffee Time near (or possibly on) Queen Street East. Thank you, plummeting dollar! [via Digg]

You're right about Queen Street East. The first landmark in the "day 4" segment is the fire hall in the Beaches, Queen & Woodbine.

They were stationed on UofT campus all day. I apparently met one of the actors but the movie doesn't have any really big names, at least that I recognized.
