MUSIC: In case you were jonesing to go to another overpriced classic rock concert, Lynyrd Skynyrd can help you with that. They're playing at the Molson Amphitheatre this evening, joined by rocker and clever lyricist Kid Rock and one third of Run-D.M.C. Molson Amphitheatre (909 Lakeshore Boulevard West), 6:30 p.m., $25.50–$75.

POLITICS: If you have U.S. citizenship and haven't yet registered to vote in the upcoming general election, never fear. Democrats Abroad is having a voter registration drive at City Hall for the next three days. Get your vote on, Americans! Toronto City Hall Rotunda (100 Queen Street West), 10–5 p.m., FREE.

SLEEP: This afternoon, your bed is hosting an event called "A Nap." The event is brought to you by Too Broke To Go Out After This Weekend, and is absolutely free. If you can't make it out that soon after work, you should make a point of going to your bed's second free event this evening, "Going To Sleep (As Soon As The Daily Show Is Over)." Your bed, whenever you want, FREE.

Smart move on the Democrats side. I'm sure they hope to get the vote for the Americans which had gotten sick of the US. Either way, I'm glad I'm not living there.

At least with Skynyrd, you can yell "Freebird!" and mean it.

And why are we skipping The Colbert Report?

I'm usually too tired after The Daily Show.

shit....I totally got rick-rolled with that link...ugh!

I believe my desk is hosting a PWYC event this afternoon, known as "Passing Out (After Not Sleeping Enough and Drinking Too Much Coffee)". Sorry kids, 19+.
