David Cronenberg was on hand for last week's Filmport opening. With a 46,000 square foot stage, there's room enough to shoot the world's largest Russian steam bath fight scene.

Cronenberg was on the CBC news report from Filmport.

He certainly made a strong statement against Harper and Co. regarding cutbacks in funding.


Harper's position on Canadian arts funding is that it's harmful to the US economy.

Yes, that was trolling, but it's also completely true.
