Held during the first heatwave of summer, the trend at this weekend's Woofstock festival was cooling down. To that end dogs were presented with two options: the fountain in Berczy Park and the nearby Cool Doggies watering station; or the Ontario Dock Dogs pool on Market Street, where dogs charge down a dock after a toy and jump into the water, competing for distance.
Check out the gallery above for photos of jumping, splashing, dressed-up, and generally happy dogs.

I've been waiting for these photos. They look great.! :)
Amazing photos! Some of the dogs' expressions are HILARIOUS!
Wow! Spectacular photos. The water ones are unreal. Great job, Miles.
pic #21: Jesus is back, in dog form!
Thanks guys, any caption suggestions are welcome!
Awesome photos, Miles! You captured a lot of great moments.
I think it's a good thing I didn't go to this, on account of how much I would have humiliated myself rolling around on the grass with these dogs.

"Sinkin' Soon'": Nora Jones tribute artist Nobleton Vegemutt in the performance that made him Canine Idol's first posthumous winner."
These are brilliant photos. I can't believe how SERIOUS those two yellow labs look like jumping into the pool. My folks are over from Ireland and couldn't get over how well behaved the dogs were (and they were - no jumping or barking or fighting or going nuts - although it might have been the heat). In Ireland the event would have been pandemonium.
These are some fantastic photos! All the dogs look amazing. My guy Oban is the Border Collie in the last photo! It was one of his first jumps with Dock Dogs! He looks hillarious!
These photos are awesome! I especially love the one of my little furball, Stella. She is the black and white Boston Terrier with the pink collar and her tongue hanging out.
