Brave souls... When we re-did our kitchen it felt nothing like watching TLC

You may just end up with a self-help group for people who feel like their lives are on hold.

I wish I had documented our diets for that year - boxes, plastic forks etc.

Good luck!!!

...everything green that they are doing you can do too (except for the whole building a new house thing...Which isn't necessarily particularly green, given that they're throwing away one that was already there and starting over with new materials.

what is this, a center for ants? The house will have to be at least, 3 times this size.
But seriously... Layout looks awesome, great stuff guys!

This is a great idea! I prefer to see this documented by someone that I can relate to - blogging about real-life non-biased experience? Perfect. Especially at a time when downtown TO is full of new condo builds... nice to see someone doing a rebuild of their own and done proper. I'd much rather this than watching some edited HGTV show full of planted foul-ups, sponsors, and an over-excited, annoying host. Way to go!

This is news? Turn on HGTV or similar channel and this is the crux of their programming... Build from scratch, demolish and rebuilt, renovate a part, redecorate a room, etc... Glad to see their "going green" but really, where is the story here? Smells more like a vanity project.
