Can't Buy Me Love?

2008_30_04cobrasnakeyardsale%20copy.jpg

If you're looking for something to wear and need to stock up on snacks for the big night, pay a little visit to the Cobrasnake and Heartschallenger Yard Sale, where they will have enough goodies, clothes, toys, and art to fill a hipster paradise. There will also be (more filling) snacks for sale, music to get you in the mood, and Mark the Cobrasnake to take your picture and make you feel famous for a day.

If that's not enough crazy-sexy-pop-art-extravaganza for you, drop into the Studio Gallery to check out the recent So Me show.

Who says we can't rock and roll at night, and party during the day?

The yard sale will take place today, Thursday May 1, from 4–8 p.m. at Studio, 294 College Street West.

Sidenote: if anyone eyed the black and silver t-shirt hanging on the wall in the photo above, it's made by Kate Moross, it's inordinately expensive (far more than a t-shirt should be), and the white version of it is the single greatest shirt I've ever owned.

Haha, the scene kids in that picture are a joke.
