Wild Toronto: Ring-billed Gull

Wild Toronto is a bi-weekly comic strip about the animals and plants that make a living in our city. Rosemary Mosco makes the comics, and would love to hear your suggestions (in the comments!) on wildlife to be profiled.

Yes but after they mate do they clap their wings together in celebration?
Love these.

I actually saw two gulls mating yesterday. On the skylight at Sherway Gardens--very interesting to view from underneath!

Adorable drawings as usual. Weeee!

They made hats from gulls? Nice.

You can often tell when a storm is coming because the gulls start to congregate in parks a little ways inland.

Nice work as always, Rosemary!

I think you'd like this:

They did make hats, though I don't think they actually had whole gulls sitting on top of them :)

That's lovely, PC, as always!

This is so cute! I have an affinity for birds :)

I wish they would eat raccoons, or at least carry the varmints off and drop them in Lake Ontario.

These always make me so happy.

Rosemary,
I saw your illustration in this past Saturday's Globe - just lovely! I love your style and hope to see more of your work in the Globe (and elsewhere!).
