    on a day we’re talking about guns, the difference between SHOOT and SHOT should be tantamount, nes pas?

    For all Daily Photoists, the titles are the exact, unedited title (punctuation, capitalization, mistakes and all) that the photographer has given their shot. A typo in a Photoist’s title is not tantamount to a spelling error elsewhere on Torontoist; elsewhere on Torontoist, spelling and grammar are paramount.

    So bleak. It could be part of a dystopian film set or matte shot.

    This is yet another example of metrix X’s greatness.
    For those quibbling over the (possible) typo; perhaps it’s an eccentric and deliberate omission of punctuation. Adding the missing punctuation could result in
    “It was a fine day T.O. Shot a 40 cent roll of slightly expired film.”

    Yes I know the difference, actually the whole idea of the set of photos on this first really nice day of spring was not to over think the whole process of photographing. This includes getting them on to flickr. FYI it is the “To” that is incorrect it should have been omitted but wasn’t because it was a cut and paste from a previous title in the set.
    But then again the title of a photograph is completely up to the artist and doesn’t have to follow shmeezilla’s rules of political and grammar correctness.
