Hot Docs 2008: Jesus Loves Andrea

Well, it’s Hot Docs' closing weekend, and we’re all running out of time to pack in some documentaries! So without furthur ado, here are today’s picks:
4:30 p.m. – Full Battle Rattle (ROM)
6:45 p.m. – The Fallen (Al Green) – Coverage of the Pasta de Conchos disaster (which cost 63 miners their lives) and the resulting fallout.
7:00 p.m. – Milošević on Trial (Royal)
7:15 p.m. – Bloody Cartoons (Innis Town Hall)
9:15 p.m. – Primary (ROM) – A film that follows a young JFK and his opponent in their campaign for the Democratic nomination for president—rather timely.
9:15 p.m. – Summerchild (Al Green) – A Finnish couple struggle to connect with a Russian orphan, while she struggles to connect with them.
9:30 p.m. – Lovely Andrea (Innis Town Hall) – Hito Steyerl searches for a bondage photo series she posed for in the past; plays with four other shorts.
9:30 p.m. – Jesus Loves You (Royal) – German Christian fundamentalists try to get football fans to convert during the World Cup. We guess on the operating idea that there are no atheists in the trenches? (Pictured above.)
