• SFist broke news about the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco’s plan to rename the city’s wastewater treatment facility to the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.
• After the previous week’s chaos and confusion at Heathrow, Londonist was soothed somewhat by news of a novel way to ease congestion on the runway. The piggyback flights are apparently April fuel efficient.
• Gothamist was impressed the NY City Council approved congestion pricing, the controversial plan to charge vehicles entering Manhattan below 60th Street fees, but the state legislature still needs to pass the plan.
• Are you a Disney fan? Then LAist has a treat for you—they profiled Critter Country, which is totally insane.
• Phillyist hated on, and then called out Barack Obama’s eBay photo stalker.
• Shanghaiist discussed Celine Dion’s China concert confusion.
• Fenway Park had a Birds moment when a hawk attacked a middle-schooler taking a tour. Bostonist says, “If you are panicked and want to give away your tickets, well, we’re easy to reach.”
• Seattlest debated whether or not it’s a good idea for the city to ban plastic bags and foam containers.
