    Haha, that’s funny about your dad. I can’t remember how I figured out what they really were. I think my mom, who’s a bird geek, might have taught me about them. My weirdest sighting of nighthawks was a huge swarm over the big ferris wheel at the Ex — I guess they were eating the bugs that were attracted to the night lights?
