We Can Dance If We Want To

If you like dancing and the TTC, this is probably the sweetest thing you will see today (other than, maybe, that Spadina Bus video). On Saturday afternoon, Jared Alleyne––inspired by Toronto's Improv Everywhere–inspired stunts like the Eaton Centre freeze and the no-pants subway ride––organized a small group to fill a Yonge-University subway car with spontaneous, unsolicited, and definitely unchoreographed dancing. We'd say more, but the video above pretty much does all the talkin' for us.

It would've been pretty hilarious if this group happened to get on the same car as Bobby Chiu's Subway Sketch Group.

Anyway, that looks like it was fun! I like the music tracks they chose. Did they play those on the subway?

As a curmudgeon, this would bother me, but then I'd just quietly move to the next car and all would be well.

Love it, keep it up. Hope it happens in a subway car I`m in.

There was no music playing on the actual subway car. I just put that overtop the video.

Everyone dancing had headphones on, except for some of the guys break-dancing who were listening to a phone.

God bless technology.

Damned whimsical kids and their subway dancing...

ARGH! How did I not know about this?!
