Monkey Sing Monkey "Day-O"

Spacing contributor Jessica Duffin Wolfe (aka vforvandal) captured the above video at Ossington station during a late-night mid-December snowstorm. It's difficult to think of a better possible respite from the sleet; every station should have one of these.

Want! How does one get one of these?

Aside from the racist implication of monkeys-singing-black-music, the smaller monkey's heads just don't move right. Sigh.

"Aside from the racist implication of monkeys-singing-black-music..."

I actually had a whole second half to this post that I decided to remove at the last moment, as it was too clunky.

Essentially it was:

"Of course, Now Magazine would probably call this toy 'racist' (because the only reason someone would make fun of New College by calling it a dank, labyrinthine dungeon is because of subconscious racism, and not at all because it's a dank, labyrinthine dungeon), ignoring the fact (?) that monkeys heart bananas."

Although I guess that's problematic, too.
