Kennedy Station will remain closed today, at least for the morning. So, if you live in Scarborough, enjoy those shuttle buses.
It's Super Tuesday! Barack Obama is closing the gap with Hillary Clinton in a number of key states, most notably California. Meanwhile, the Republican race is boiling down to a dogfight between Mitt Romney, running on the "I hate liberals the most" platform, and John McCain, running on the "I might actually be able to win an election" platform.
Hey, speaking of elections, did you know Stephen Harper has broken a lot of his election promises? Because it turns out he has done that a lot. Most notably, he broke his "I promise not to force the operation of any potentially unsafe nuclear reactors" promise. I'm sure you all remember the debate where he attacked Paul Martin for being pro-unsafe reactors.
Dalton McGuinty warns other school boards to not start black-focused schools. McGuinty promises the Liberals "won't hesitate to act," by which he means a very, very strongly worded memo, and possibly even a full-throated denunciation. That's right, people—you fuck with Dalton McGuinty, you get the horns.
Sir John A. MacDonald's signature going for big bucks on eBay. This is good news for the Dominion Institute's "Canadian history: it's relevant!" ad campaign.
And the Raptors thrashed the Miami Heat last night.

The Chalk River nuclear reactor was still a safe reactor when the Harper government forced its reopening. Because a backup backup safety measure was not working does not mean that the reactor was unsafe.
Harper did not break, at least this, election promise.
Not only did I have to take the shuttle bus to Kennedy station, but King street -- and as a result, the streetcars -- are out of commission because a garbage truck sped up when it thought it was reversing and knocked over the wires. Add the RT being down for a bit, and we have a really shitty morning commute.
You know, TTC, sometimes you make it so hard to love you.
