The Little Green Book

2008_01_10GreenBook.jpg

Sometimes we find ourselves wondering, "Where do I put these lead acid batteries now that they've started to leak corrosive fluid all over the place," or, "How can I save money while being green in 2008?" A new Greentree book by Allison Greenbaum gives us the answers.

"The Little Green Book of Big Savings" is an indispensable tool for being green and thrifty in Toronto in the new year, featuring over $4,000 in savings and freebies from local and independently-owned green businesses and services throughout downtown Toronto, primarily located from Dufferin to Yonge and Dupont to King.

Featuring information about everything from carbon credits to organic spas, fair trade coffee to pilates, and outdoor recreation gear to vegan catering, the book is a veritable encyclopedia about the lifestyle that will define the year, on the cheap.

To learn more about the book and discover the many places you can pick it up in the city, check out TheLittleGreenBook.ca.

Would be even greener if they would provide a PDF copy on their site for sale.

There is no way to track downloads of a PDF. Also PDFs are so wonky that even if you could work it to issue once per payment, the chances of it hanging your computer or worse are too great to make this a viable solution.

Baby G's the best, making the world a little greener :)
