There Will Be Blood is the latest film from P.T. Anderson (he of Magnolia and Boogie Nights). Set across turn-of-the-century America, starring Daniel Day-Lewis as a miner-turned-oil tycoon, and scored by Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, the film is making pretty much everyone who loves movies lose their mind: Gaze upon its 95% on Rotten Tomatoes! Its 9.3 on IMDb! Its 382 Google results for “‘there will be blood’ ‘best film ever’”! And it’s not even out yet.
The film finally, mercifully, opens here on January 4. We (genuinely) couldn’t be more excited about it, so we’ve hooked up with AMPR as a media partner for an advance screening the night before (January 3) at Scotiabank Theatre. As a result of that glorious union, we now have forty (that’s 40!) admit-two passes to give out to our readers.
We’re not really into doing behind-the-scenes administrative stuff over Christmas, so let’s just do this: first forty people to comment will get an admit-two pass.
