The Hills Are Alive In Toronto

Are you getting geared up for the season finale of The Hills on Monday? If so, continue reading. If not, we don't need another lecture about how the show is quasi-scripted—tell it to your boring friends.
The last few weeks have surprised loyal viewers with some major plot twists: Audrina finally dumped Justin Bobby, Lauren wants to make a boyfriend out of notorious man-whore Brody Jenner, Spencer's sister has turned cat-fighting into the official sport of Le Deux nightclub, and Heidi and Spencer's impending marriage is looking less likely to happen with each passing episode.
But hold up! Last week's episode took place around Hallowe'en, as Lauren and Audrina hosted a house party so weak that even Brody and Frankie Delgado didn't stick around. The episode closed with another door-slamming fight at the Speidi residence, followed by a promo clip for the finale that seemed to imply that Heidi is going back to her family in AffluentMountainTown, Colorado. However, a video from TMZ places the couple in Santa Monica on November 16, looking happy and very much together. Another case of dramatic shenanigans on the part of the producers? Oh, probably. That doesn't mean it doesn't make for some damn fine television.
Sadly, we didn't win the MTV contest to fly to LA and watch the finale with The Hills Afterparty hosts Dan Levy and Jessi Cruikshank. But Teranga (159 Augusta Avenue) is hosting a Hills finale party with no cover at 9:00 p.m. so everyone can sip fancy drinks and shout "Oh no she didn't!" in unison. We'll see you there.

So this is happening in Toronto how? Aside from a watching party at a wee bar in Kensington Market, there isn't a Toronto-thing about this story.
Why not do a story on Jessi Hairdo and Dan O'Vest's aftershow being airlifted from Masonic TeleVision to LA for the finale?
I'm awaiting the series finale. Then I'll sip a beer lol.
Um... not to be a bitch, but She-Pratt cussed LC out at Opera, not Les Deux.
Also, Heidi's from Crested Butte, I do believe.
I am so lame.
uh, dude, i think the point of the article WAS to announce that there IS a watching party in Toronto next week as none of us can go to the aforementioned LA finale party.
and the G&M already ran that "Levy goes to LA!" story this weekend, but tragically it resulted in a "shouldn't this be in the arts or style section?" article.
Given that The Hills Aftershow is from a Toronto studio and is now shown across North America, I think that the work of The Hills Aftershow team is a great Toronto success story - well done guys! Bit sucky that the finale won't be here though.
What is or are The Hills?
