Just In Time For Christmess

This time last year, he was wishing us Merry Christmess from Zanta, and now former Torontoist staffer/billboard modification specialist Fauxreel is selling prints! While we naturally dig all his billboard work, there's something about the shot of the dead bird above that's just gorgeous, and––like all of his work––one hell of a conversation piece.
Shots of all the prints that are for sale are after the fold, and Fauxreel's also giving one lucky Torontoist reader a print of his or her choice. All you've gotta do is be the first person to correctly answer the following question (and name the print that you want) in the comments: what is the name of David Zancai's girlfriend, who he split up with just before becoming Zanta? Congratulations to winner yousovain!

the queen st subway/underpass is a hotbed of art. the installation pieces done by the same dude who attached bronze plates to telephone poles, all the graffitti on the bridge, the mural, this guy's artwork...gonna miss it all when the jog gets fixed.

Ahh; can't post an image here. Is the shot at this link some of his work?

I'm not positive, but I'd bet you that it is, yes. I'll ask; dude loves his wheatpastes.

Thanks. It was on the east side of that bridge near Queen & Dufferin. I think it's one of the most striking pieces of street art I've seen.

Little late, but ehmm...that Christine Rood, isn't she from Holland? There was this Chrstine Rood that used to work (or maybe she still does) at the Dutch embassy, if I remember it well.
