Who, What, Wear: Kate Moss vs. Roberto Cavalli

mosshm.jpg

Two big name/big chain clothing lines landed in Toronto this week—one at Holt Renfrew on Tuesday, the other at H&M this morning. To determine which "limited edition" collection is for you, dear fast-fashionista, here's a little quiz:

1. Who's your personal style icon?
A) Kate Moss
B) Jennifer Lopez

2. Favourite fashion model?
A) Kate Moss
B) Jessica Stam

3. Most influential figure in pop culture this decade?
A) Kate Moss
B) Beyoncé

Results after the jump!

If you answered mostly A... surprise! It's Kate Moss for Topshop for you. Head to Holt's for the cocaine catwalk queen's fall/winter line, primarily inspired by the twenties and the tuxedo. The pricier pieces are your best bets—lavishly embellished flapper dresses sell for $350 and will swing you nicely into party season. You can pick up an asymmetrical gold-and-black striped top for $98, but, um, it's an asymmetrical gold-and-black striped top. If you really wanted to, you could probably get the same thing at H&M for a third of the price.

Speaking of H&M, if you answered mostly B... congratulations? No time to fret about your tacky taste—instead, dash over to the Swedish behemoth's Eaton Centre location to see if there's anything left of Roberto Cavalli's animal-print glamorama. Zebra-striped mens' briefs, anyone?
