Populist: November 5–11

• Tony Makepeace continued the ever-awesome Panoramaist with a look inside the gorgeous Four Seasons Centre. (This week's most recommended post.)
• Karen Whaley got quoted entirely out of context by The Star. That'll teach us not to diss Rosie DiManno! Wait––no, no it won't.
• Marc Lostracco interviewed Raine Maida, and seriously dashed the hopes of everyone hoping to get an iPhone.
• Ken Hunt and Christopher Bird went head-to-head on the issue of black-focused schools, which is just as controversial an issue as you'd expect.
• Robin Rix pointed our attention to London, where a $1.6 billion repair on a rail station is making us crazily jealous.
• Here's a fun game to play at home: call an anti-TTC stencil "right wing," like Jonathan Goldsbie did, and watch people get really really furious for some reason. (This week's most commented-on post.) Goldsbie also wrote about the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty's demonstration against video cameras––apparently, homeless people would rather be fed than watched! Weird!
• David Fleischer wrote about Blues Brothers 2000, a shameful, shameful moment for Toronto's film history.
• Jamie Bradburn pointed out the obvious and the kinda-racist and kinda-sexist.
• Kevin Plummer looked at how our city honours its soldiers.
