Friday night saw some 1600 people (according to glowstick consumption) running through downtown Toronto looking for pink and blue flags, having a generally awesome time for Newmindspace's Capture the Flag event. In the end, the Blue team emerged victorious!

grow the fuck up
lol. no
reminds me of a verizon cell phone commmercial.
"omg dude u have da flag!?"
"dude ya totalai on my Verizon text phone!!"
"it is so kewl to be young peepz!"
"yeah homey bff 2007 yo!"
I really wanted to do this but have a major phobia about being chased so decided against it. maybe I'll get over my fear in time for the next one.
re- "grow the fuck up"
mebbe. mebbe not.
I had more fun this year, but it was hardly smooth. Lots of cheating and fudging the rules, refs unclear about the boundaries (we were told you could cross Queen but not University; one ref even said anything on the map was in-bounds), and arbitrary decisions made by one power-mad ref at the Blue Flag made it really unbalanced. But yeah I had lots of fun.
Maybe this week's Manhunt (Dundas and Sheridan) will see a spike in new players... CTF 06 finally got me showing up for Manhunt.

The last "guest" comment ever left on Torontoist?
(Yes, it was.)
@Guest... Wow. Really? I think me and my clan were probably the oldest ones there, on average. We had a complete blast. In all honesty, it was the best Friday night I've had in a very long time. Grow up? No thanks.
