Join The Puppet Party

2007_10_12puppet.jpgNo matter which generation you're from, chances are you have been influenced in one way or another by puppets. Lamb Chop, Elmo, Kermit, Casey & Finnegan, and even Ed the Sock have been huge puppet figures in popular culture. So why not relive your childhood and come on down to a puppet play this Saturday afternoon?

Toronto puppeteers Kristen, Jackie, and Renee are back in town after a tour in New York City and are bringing their show to West Queen West. Penelope and the Three Strange Sisters is a story about a girl who just wants to have a party, but first she has to complete three impossible tasks with the help of her best friend Bruce.

After the show there is a mini puppet workshop so that people can learn the art of pupeteering for themselves. It's at TYPE Books, 883 Queen Street West on Saturday, October 13th. Show is at 2, doors are at 1:45. It's also pay what you can, so pay what you can!
