Very early on this year, Torontoist was bold enough to predict that this may be the year of Basia Bulat. Nine months later and we may not have been very far off the mark. Ms. Bulat released her new album Oh, My Darling in Europe this past March, and has recently signed to Hardwood Records to finally (finally!) release her debut album tomorrow here in Canada.
In celebration, we're giving away a pair of tickets to her CD release party on September 22 at the Music Gallery, courtesy of Universal Music. If you didn't get a chance to catch Bulat's recent show at Yonge-Dundas Square, here's your opportunity to make up for that. There are two shows that evening (6 p.m. and 9 p.m.), and tickets can be purchased for $10.50. Bonus: the always awesome Wayne Petti will be opening.
