Tory MPP Losing Faith, Blair Finding Bikes, Deep-Voiced Men Getting Laid

2007_09_25_religion2.jpgBill Murdoch, Conservative MPP for the riding of Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, has announced that he disagrees with his party's plan to fund faith-based education and will vote against it if it is raised in the legislature. All MPPs continue to support faith-based taxation, i.e., the system that sees taxpayers give their money to governments with the irrational belief that they they won't piss it away on things like religious schools.

Toronto police chief Bill Blair yesterday announced a new online system to combat bicycle theft. Skeptics observed that very few bikes are actually stolen online.

A new study supports what Barry White fans already knew: that women find men with deep voices more sexually appealing than men with high-pitched Mickey Mouse voices.

Controversial Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave an address at Columbia University in New York yesterday and was surprised to be introduced by the President of the University as a "cruel and petty dictator." Anxious to win back the crowd, a smiling Ahmaninejad tapped the mic, said, "is this thing on?" and proceeded to play the Name Game with his surname.
