Warp Your Minds

2007_08_08warped.jpg

It's that time of year again, when punks (and punk wannabes) dust off their Doc Martens, ply up their mohawks, master their moshing, and make their way to Park Place in Barrie for Vans Warped Tour.

Saturday's show will see bands such as Bad Religion, New Found Glory, Ill Scarlett, Killswitch Engage, and Toronto's own k-os hitting the stage. This year marks the 13th annual event, which has previously showcased such great acts as Green Day, Blink 182, AFI, Limp Bizkit, and MXPX, to name a few.

Tickets are still available, but selling out fast. You can get them through Ticketmaster for a cool $40.75. The show starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, and will last all day and into the night.

If you have to go to Barrie, it is not worth going.

"which has previously showcased such great acts as...Limp Bizkit"

Poor k-os. I think he maybe confused this festival with another one.

It actually ends at about 9:30pm-ish...there are no stage lights!
