Every weekday morning, bright and early, we feature a photo (or two) from a photographer in the Torontoist Flickr Pool. It's our way of giving the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention that they deserve.

Neat photo, if it were actually real. It's so clearly a poorly executed photoshop creation that I'm surprised it's featured here.
I haven't talked to the photographer yet, but it doesn't look like a fake to me––view it full-sized on Flickr.
Either way, thats a messed up grill.
The lighting is totally skewed/impossible and look at the blurred egdes at the junction. It's a really poorly done cut and paste job. Have you ever seen out of focus depth elements between sharply focused depths elements (not including motion blur)? Cool concept though. Nice idea.
Thanks for all the nasty comments
that's my friend ur dissing and yes i did a quick cute and paste job on the photo
i was having fun with it and hadn't gotten time to edit it anymore than what i did
I'm no Pro at Photoshop
Stop jumping on the little guy! Cuz u never know he might be as big as me! =0P

PS
CHILL OUT!
Photoshop or not, that's one scary glory hole.
The manipulation debate here isn't new. But i think it's the technique in this photo that makes it a great composition.
CBC Radio 3 also used this image as the background for their blog. Has anyone seen it? It was the "Image of the Day" for August 16th. That photographer sure is getting around!
FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS Teeth get that way!
WHAT A JOKE!
There is no photoshopping here....looks like you so called pro's were fooled! The guy that took this photo doesn't know photo shop from "a hole in a wall"! I was at this photo shoot and photographed this shot being taken! IT IS FOR REAL! See for yourself!

I really did not expect this to be such a controversial Photoist...
Regarding above: "FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS Teeth get that way!"
Get over your superficiality and accept the fact that many arn't born with 'good' teeth.
Not everyone who was dealt a bad hand at birth, has the thousands to spare on perfectly lined up grills.
You're not much of a friend, much less a human with a heart (and a brain) if you can't even realize 'bad' teeth is something that they didn't choose to bloody have in the first place.
Reprioritize your values in life, prick.
