Embiggening Our Simpsons Winners

040407simpsonswinners.jpgOur Simpsons contest is over, and while fifteen of our readers came up with valiant attempts to invent new words, we can only give three of them the prizes that we've been graciously allocated by Cornerstone Promotion. We at Torontoist are pleased to be part of the unending promotional machine that is this film. So, winners!

Our Grand Prize Winner (receiving a movie poster autographed by Hans Zimmer, a limited edition doughnut soundtrack, and a magnet) is johnpee for hambivalent: "a vegetarian who occasionally eats bacon."

Our First Runner Up (receiving a regular edition of the soundtrack, a movie poster, and magnet) goes to senior, for streetkarma: "The ability to show up at the streetcar stop just as it arrives. Using up all your good streetkarma results in a period of bad streetkarma, ie. having to wait for half an hour outside Sneaky Dees for the 511 Bathurst at 1am in January."

Our Second Runner Up (receiving a poster and a magnet) is Xofer, for undiculous: "The polar opposite of ridiculous. Also: So ridiculous that it nearly implodes on itself."

Congratulations to our winners, and stay tuned to Torontoist for more contests!

"Hambivalent" is the best ever. Spoken as a vegetarian who has given in to the lure of honey garlic spare ribs on a couple of occasions.
