
Canadian Bar Association demands that Stephen Harper negotiate with the United States to return Omar Khadr to Canada. The country's largest legal organization (and Khadr's own American military lawyer, for that matter) states that Khadr will not get a fair trial in the United States, which is obvious. Also obvious: the likelihood of Harper doing exactly dick about it.
Gay Nicaraguan man goes into hiding in Toronto after being denied refugee status. Which is the absolute opposite of fabulous.
"Ed Mirvish Day" draws a huge turnout. You know what is awesome about Ed Mirvish Day? The free hot dogs. How many people have memorial services with free hot dogs? Not many, Torontoist can tell you that much. This is why Honest Ed was in a class by himself.

Canadian in space may save shuttle but the Globe puts Tiger on the cover. I am having a hard time figuring out why.
The PGA was Tigers's 13th MAJOR. He has won way more that 13 times -- this is his fifth win this year alone.
