The Daily Photoist: Interesting…errr…position.
Every weekday, we pick an image from the Torontoist Flickr Pool and feature it here on the site. It’s our way to give the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention they deserve!

A photographer’s roving eye can easily capture a quick movement, find a beautiful composition, and even a uh…interesting position at the macro level, such as this one caught by gardinergirl. While one insect is busily working away at the contents of the flower, another hangs precariously off the former in a moment of Zen. Legs folded inwards and antennae sitting perfectly still, it’s an insect’s paradise.
The vibrant colours convey a tropical atmosphere, only enhanced by the cactus-like flower, and are a surprising find for the Humber Bay Park.
