Usually saying the words "short" and "sex" in the same sentence means that somebody had a bad night. Unless, that is, you're talking about Darryl's Hard Liquor And Porn Film Festival, a showcase for short movies about everyone's favourite late night activity.
Wannabe porn directors, now's your time to shine, as the final call for submissions has been pushed up to August 15th. The rules are fairly loose, pardon the pun, with the only criteria being that the flicks must be under four minutes and "not boring." And, of course, they have to somehow be about fornication. Your film would be judged by industry experts and could win one of four awards, including the Good For Her Award, and the Fez D'Or.
If watching is your thing, then make sure you come out to the 8th Annual Hard Liquor And Porn Film Festival at the Bloor Cinema on October 13. Audiences are encouraged to dress up as their favourite porn stars as they check out all the, er, hard work that has gone into making these films. Films come from all around Canada, the U.S., and Europe, and will be screened across Canada.
