The darkened silhouettes of hula dancers taken by nuttybaklava is a reminder of the incredible diversity that forms Toronto. Hula is characterized by gestural movements that tell a story and are usually accompanied by chants or songs. Integral to the Polynesian, Hawaiian and Phillippino cultures, it is often still performed at important celebrations.
