There's A Party In My Mouth, And Everyone's Invited

2007_06_20MouthParty.jpgTomorrow night, experience the best and brightest of the Toronto Alternative Comedy scene. Graham Wagner (Iron Cobra, Catch 23) and Mike Balazo are holding an event called Mouth Party at the Victory Cafe. Says Balazo, "We host the show as two bitter, washed-up, stuffy CBC radio types who disparage the current state of broadcasting."

It's also a rare chance to catch these comics—Balazo has been performing in the UK for the past three months and Wagner's been working on various TV projects in Los Angeles since January. We asked them what they missed most about Toronto. Says Balazo, "I missed my nightly dinners at the CN Tower." Adds Wagner, "I missed Michael's daily reviews of the restaurant at the top of the CN Tower."

Guests at this edition of Mouth Party include Nathan Fielder (2006 Cream of Comedy winner), The Distractions (Levi MacDougall, Tim Polley, and Paul Schuck), The Gurg (Chris Locke and Brian Barlow), Terrance Balazo, Kathleen Phillips, Nick Flanagan, and Kurt Smeaton and Ryan V. Hays. There's also music from Mantler, The Gravity Wave, and The Rural Alberta Advantage. Did we mention that it starts at 9 p.m.? And it's free.
