Have you always been the type of person to kick ass and take names? Here's your chance to do just that with Toronto's own Pillow Fight League, who are holding open tryouts this weekend.
What does it take to be a professional pillow fighter? For one, you have to be a female between the ages of 19 and 35. Second, you have to posess style, stamina, and eye of the tiger. You also have to be able to commit to at least three practices a month and work well in a group.
What do you get in return? First off, automatic cool points for being a part of a professional pillow fighting league. Second, even if you're not in shape now, PFL trainers will whip you into fighting mode in no time. You'll get the fun of fighting in a public setting without the fear of getting arrested or breaking your face. And you make some cool dough with every public appearance as a PFL fighter.
Interested? Come on down to the Horseshoe Tavern at 370 Queen Street West on Sunday, June 3 between 1 and 5 p.m. Bring good shoes and wear clothes you can move in.
