If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now

Sweet. I find house-hunting incredibly soul-destroying, but not as soul-destroying as actually moving. Finding a great place however is one of the most exciting things in the whole entire universe. I invite readers who've found their dream-places to give us a couple setences of why their place rocks.

My first two flats have both been awesome. One (which I'm moving out of today!) is in just-south-of-the-coolio-South-London area. So, it's 10 minutes walk from moderately cool and has lots of bars and cafes opening every other month yet doesn't cost the bajillions that actually living in a "Proven Cool" neighbourhood would.

My place in Madrid is a little (moving in on Monday!) out of the way but it's a perfect little love nest for two with lots of light.

Both were found within two stays of searching and were within budget!

And that's what I did on my summer vacation...
