Farms Go Green, Knocked Up Controversy, Forever 21

Studies show that two-thirds of Ontario farmers use conservation tillage (which reduces greenhouse gas emissions) and have cut down pesticide use by 52%. Way to go, Team Agriculture!

Rebecca Eckler says the movie Knocked Up stole the premise of her book Knocked Up: Confessions of a Hip Mother-to-be! Hmm. It seems the plot is rather similar, but getting accidentally pregnant is a common life-changing occurrence, like first periods and addictions to cocaine.

Sassy enviro-MILF Bo Derek visited Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay in Ottawa yesterday to discuss illegal wildlife trade. David Ramsay listened intently.

It's just two more weeks until the opening of Forever 21 at Yonge and Dundas. When it comes to cheap and fashionable clothing, this place puts H&M to shame. I'm counting the days.

Ms Eckler is a no-talent airhead and her book chronicles how much of a silly character she can be. Now she complains about a C-grade movie with a similar name to her book.

She can't get over her situation in life and she's now venting in public. Silly girl, get a life and become something of substance.

Let us examine the eerie similarities between Eckler's book and the movie:
*Eckler got knocked up after her engagement party, while the movie gal got knocked up after a drunken night at a bar.
*Eckler got knocked up by a wealthy man who lived in another city while the movie gal had nothing in common with the total stoner loser who impregnated her except living in the same city.
*Eckler got knocked up by her fiancee, the movie gal gets knocked up by a random stranger she hooked up with.

Spooky.

Eckler also claims they stole the Seth Rogen Jewish-Canadian character because her fiancé is Jewish and Canadian. That is, of course, ignoring the fact that Seth Rogen himself is also Jewish and Canadian.

Speaking of agriculture:

Alex Atamanenko (NDP Agriculture critic) has introduced a private member's bill calling for the ban of terminator seed technology in Canada. The Con Agri Minister paradoxically says not enough is known about the science to warrant a ban.

Fuck Forever 21. Support local business! There are already too many big box stores and shitty malls in central toronto.

Torontoist, where do we send bug reports? The paragraph where rt provided an actual example of a locally-owned purveyor of cheap and fashionable clothing seems to have mysteriously vanished.
