In The Pool: Doors Open Toronto 2007
Every so often (mostly when we get lazy, or leave our cameras at home), Torontoist will exploit the hard work of the talented photographers in our Flickr Pool and feature some of their photos of an event here on Torontoist. For now, we’re calling it In The Pool, but we reserve the right to change the name later.

This past weekend’s Doors Open was all but designed for our city’s photographers: building after building, normally either entirely off-limits altogether, accessible only to its members or followers, or simply ridiculously expensive to see, simply…well…opening their doors and letting everyone in.
So far, dozens of photos have been submitted to Torontoist’s Flickr pool, and shots continue to steadily come in. Since not all of us could make it out this weekend, we decided to feature some of the cooler shots here. We’ll continue to update this thread with our favourites as they are submitted; photographers need only submit their photos to the pool, wait, and cross their fingers, or, if they’re not on Flickr, e-mail the shots to us at tips@torontoist.com.
And, as if you needed a reason to get excited about next year’s event, we have it on good word that the theme for 2008 will be places of worship. Sweet!
