Building Toronto's Green Future

Another day, another forum designed to unpack and solve this environmental crisis we seem to have gotten ourselves into. This one, in particular, is part of the ongoing St. Lawrence Centre Forum series. A panel of developers and architects will attempt to imagine possibilities for Toronto as the "Greenest City in North America" by 2020, hopefully thinking beyond the usual suspects of green roofs and solar PV panels.

Having attended a number of these things, Torontoist humbly recommends that they're worth going to if, A) you want to learn more about the nature of our energy and environmental challenges, and/or B) you want to learn more about the possible solutions. If, on the other hand, you already have some ideas about what you could personally do to make a difference, you might want to invest your time in actually doing them instead of sitting in a dark room listening to people talk.

This event is presented by a whole slew of groups in addition to the Forum: Doors Open Toronto, TO Live with Culture, the Toronto Star, the CBC, The Toronto Society of Architects, and the Festival of Architectre and Design (fAd).
