The Daily Photoist: Multlayered

Each weekday morning, we pick a recent image from the Torontoist Flickr Pool and feature it here on the site. It's our way to give the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention they deserve!

Expensive lenses can't compete with a keen eye. Usually doubtful of the quality produced by cameras integrated into cellphones, dzgnboy makes us consider otherwise with his fantastic photo above.

Her face partially obscured by a camera displaying another semi-concealed face, could the two halves make a whole? Reflections reveal another scene in the screen of the camera, another layer mixing with the ones below. There's a candid nature to it and yet it feels so posed as well. Our curiosity is sparked as to what prompted such a set-up.
