The Daily Photoist: Fly On The Wall

Each weekday morning, we pick a recent image from the Torontoist Flickr Pool and feature it here on the site. It's our way to give the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention they deserve!

We're at angles with this photo by moonw|re. Does it make you tilt your head left or right? The repetitious grid of windows is drawn out to opposing corners and creates a sense of vertigo from a never ending building. Yet in the middle of it all, there sits a window washer dangling from two cables and squeegeeing away. Thick cables carrying a sign and stoplight cut across from a slightly different direction and completely dwarf the man. Unaware of it, he's overwhelmed with infrastructure and without a net to catch him.
